Cut dialog

The Edit > Cut Special command opens the Cut dialog box, which lets you remove from the project and put on the Clipboard any selected objects. You can paste the contents of the Clipboard elsewhere. See Paste dialog.

The Cut dialog box has the following fields:

Events in Tracks

If you select this check box, SONAR removes every Event in the selected object.

Clip Automation

If you select this check box, SONAR removes all clip automation in the selection.

Track/Bus Automation

If you select this check box, SONAR removes all Track and Bus automation from the selection.

Tempo Changes

If you select this check box, SONAR removes all tempo changes in the selected object.

Meter/Key Changes

If you select this check box, SONAR removes all meter and key changes in the selected object.

Markers

If you select this check box, SONAR removes all markers in the selected object.

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.

If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
