UI themes

UI themes allow you to change the look of SONAR. SONAR includes several themes to choose from, and more will become available in the future. Choose one of the themes that best suits your preferences. You can further customize themes by changing colors of various UI elements.

A UI theme only contains images and colors, and will not change SONAR features or behavior in any way. All UI elements retain their size and position when you switch UI themes.

To select a UI theme

1.	Go to Edit > Preferences > Customization - Themes.

2.	Click the Theme drop-down list and select the desired theme. A preview of the selected theme is displayed.

3.	Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.

SONAR dynamically applies the new UI theme.

You can further customize colors by going to Edit > Preferences > Customization - Colors.

 

Note: If you customize a color in the Preferences dialog box, it will override the corresponding color in the UI theme. If you change the UI theme, any custom colors will be lost, and the corresponding UI theme colors will be used instead. Be sure to save any custom colors as a color preset if you don't want to lose them when switching UI themes.
