This update is recommended for all V-Studio 100 users, if your current firmware is already version 1.30 or higher than you do not need to apply this update.

You can check the currently installed firmware version when you power up the VS-100, the version of the current system software is displayed in the lower right corner corner of the screen.

Note: Users running previous firmware versions can jump directly to 1.30, it is not necessary to apply the firmware updates sequentially. Enhancements in firmware version 1.30

• Metronome can now be assigned to outputs 3/4 as well as 1/2
• Metronome can now start when the [REC] button is pressed
• New 'Universal Surface Mode' provides improved compatibility for Mackie Control in host applications
