V-Studio 700 Firmware, Windows Driver 2.0, and Mac OSX Driver updates

The following updates are now available for the V-Studio 700:

  • Driver version 2.0.0 for Windows XP (x86 only), Vista (x86 and x64) and Windows 7 (x86 and x64)
  • Driver version 1.0.0 for Mac OSX 10.5 or earlier and Mac OSX 10.6 or later
  • Fantom VS Firmware Version 1.30
  • CPU/DSP Firmware Version 1.30
  • VS-700C Console Firmware Version 1.31


What's new:

 

  • The VS-700 now works together with the OCTA-CAPTURE to expand the total I/O.
  • Lower latency available - Super low latency and high stability brought by newly introduced "VS STREAMING" technology.
  • Compatibility update for ARX Expansion series (Fantom VS 1.30 firmware update)


Installation Instructions:

IMPORTANT: The following firmware updates are required to use the VS700 version 2.0.0 Windows drivers and version 1.0.0 Mac OSX drivers.

 

 

  • The VS-700 CPU/DSP System Program Ver.1.30 or later
  • The VS-700 FANTOM VS System Program Ver.1.30 or later
  • The VS-700C Console System Program Ver.1.31 or later

To take advantage of these low latency drivers you must update your hardware to the latest firmware versions. Instructions for checking the currently installed firmware of your VS-700 can be found by clicking here. Failure to follow these instructions could result in damaged hardware. Instructions on updating your installed firmware can be found in the links below:

 

 


To install VS-700C stand alone drivers version 2.0.0:

 

 

  1. Download the drivers from the download link below
  2. Windows XP users follow the instructions found here.
  3. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users follow the instructions found here.
  4. Make sure you have updated your firmware for your hardware to the most recent versions. If you have not already done so, please see above.


To install VS-700 SET drivers version 2.0.0:

 

 

  1. Download the drivers from the download link below
  2. Extract the contents of the package by right-clicking on it and choosing "Extract All". On Mac OSX extract by double-clicking.  Note: be sure to unzip it to a location on your computer that you can find later
  3. In the extracted folder, open the folder for your operating system
  4. Run Setup.exe. If prompted by the installer, run Uninstall.exe beforehand and restart your computer.
  5. Make sure you have updated your firmware for your hardware to the most recent versions. If you have not already done so, please see above.
