Cakewalk Academic Eligibility Requirements

Cakewalk's specially priced SONAR Platinum and Professional academic editions require eligibility verification.
- Purchase an Academic license of SONAR Platinum or Professional from an official Cakewalk Dealer.
- Enter your code included with purchase at www.identit-e.com/cakewalk to provide verification.
- Once validated, Identit-e returns another redemption code with instructions to visit www.cakewalk.com/redeem for serial number and downloadable installers
QUALIFIED END USERS
- Students: Higher education, primary, secondary or homeschooled
- Faculty/Teachers: Higher education, primary, secondary or homeschooled
- Staff: Higher education, primary, secondary
End-users must be enrolled or employed at an eligible institution as listed below.
QUALIFIED INSTITUTIONS:
- Higher Education Institutions: Public or private accredited1 universities, colleges, community/junior colleges or vocational schools which grant degrees or certificates
- Primary or Secondary Institutions: Accredited1, government-recognized public or private primary or secondary school providing full-time instruction
- Homeschool Programs: As defined by state homeschooling regulations found at http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp (U.S.) or other local regulations
NON-QUALIFIED INSTITUTIONS & END USERS:
- Non-accredited schools
- Institutions that do not award a diploma, certificate or degree upon program completion
- Pre-k, and/or child care facilities
- Volunteers and interns who do not receive payment from the institution
- Hospitals not wholly owned and operated by an educational entity
- Churches and religious organizations that are not accredited schools
- Libraries not wholly owned and operated by an educational entity
- Non-profit organizations or charities
- Training center and/or tutoring centers
- Military Schools that do not grant academic degrees

PRODUCT USAGE RESTRICTIONS:
- Users may purchase only one license of each academically discounted product every 90 days
- Licenses may be used only on privately owned computers
- Users may not resell academic products, license ownership is non-transferable
