Automation lane enhancements

Copy and paste between Automation lanes

You can now copy and paste from any Automation lane to any other Automation lane. The lanes show active state by highlighting the background of the name control.

1.

Select the automation data you want to copy, then go to Edit > Copy (or press CTRL+C).

Select the Automation lane you want to paste the automation data to, then go to Edit > Paste (or press CTRL+V). The data is pasted at the Now time.

Editable name for Automation Lanes

Automation lanes now show a name field that can be edited. Double-click the name field to rename an Automation lane.

Increased range for Automation lane height

The maximum and minimum Automation lane height has been expanded. Automation lanes can now be very short or very tall.

Tip - Searching Documentation

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.

If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
