Celemony Melodyne 4 essential (Platinum and Professional only)

Melodyne essential is part of Celemony’s one-track product family, and offers basic editing of pitch and timing with the same high sound quality as Celemony’s flagship version Melodyne studio. Melodyne 4 includes many new enhancements, such as a streamlined interface, Universal algorithm that can handle complex polyphonic material, conform to tempo, many new keyboard shortcuts, and native 64-bit support. With Melodyne, you can:

Correct off-key vocals and out-of-tune melodic instruments.

Fix timing errors in melodic and rhythmic material.

Create harmonies.

Convert audio to MIDI. You can even use vocal or other audio source as a MIDI input device (sing/hum a melody, etc., and convert to MIDI).

Melodyne is integrated in SONAR via the ARA protocol (see ARA Audio Random Access). The Melodyne interface appears docked in SONAR’s MultiDock view.
