Start Screen enhancements

The Start Screen has been updated with several enhancements.

List view

Recent projects can be displayed in a grid with thumbnail images, or as a vertical text list. List view allows you to show more projects simultaneously.

To toggle between Grid view and List view, click the Grid View and List View buttons.

Scroll-bar affordance

When exposed, scroll-bars are now much more discernible.

Launch Start Screen from the Control Bar

The Custom Control Bar module’s default button assignments now includes a button to launch the Start Screen.

Note: The Start Screen button will only be assigned if there is at least one unassigned button available. SONAR will not overwrite any of your custom assignments.

Tip - Searching Documentation

Tip: To search for a specific topic, type your search query in the Search Cakewalk.com field at the top right of this page.

When the search results appear, click which product's documentation you would like to search to filter the search results further.

Note - Using Offline Help

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.

If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
