Groove clips are .wav files that behave similarly to MAGIX GmbH’s ACIDized loops (Cakewalk also has MIDI Groove clips—see MIDI Groove Clips). Groove clips contain information about the audio content, including the original tempo, original reference pitch, number of beats in the loop, and audio transient information.
