You can insert meter changes anywhere in the timeline. The Measure Beat/Meter dialog box allows you to select the point on the Time Ruler where the meter change will occur. Using the spinners or manual entry, select the point at which you want to insert the meter change. Select the meter you want to change to by checking the Insert Meter check box, and entering the time signature you want.

Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
