Open dialog

The File > Open command opens the Open dialog box. Use the Open dialog box to open an existing project.

Look in

Select the directory in which SONAR stores the file that you want to open.

File name

Type or select the filename you want to open.

Files of type

Select the type of file you want to open.

Go to Folder

Go to one of the predefined SONAR folders. See File - Folder Locations.

Tip - Searching Documentation

Note - Using Offline Help

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.

If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
