Melodyne essential 4.1 (Platinum and Professional only)

Melodyne essential 4.1 includes the following new enhancements:

Comping workflow is improved. In previous versions, you had to make comping decision without Melodyne, then bounce the comp and apply Melodyne. With Melodyne 4.1, you can have Melodyne on each clip in Take lanes, so you may verify if a take can be enhanced by Melodyne before you decide to use the take or not.

The new Track Edit mode provides an overview of all the clips sequenced on a track, so you can easily repair overlapping notes or unwanted pauses at clip borders. Clip borders are indicated in Melodyne by vertical gray lines. Moving the borders is performed in SONAR’s Clips pane, but the lines in Melodyne move correspondingly.

Better sound quality when stretching with ARA.

Local playback. When commencing playback by clicking in Melodyne’s note background, you will only hear the tracks that are shown in Melodyne, and you can adjust the balance between the tracks without affecting the project’s mix in SONAR.

Improved tempo detection and tempo operations.
