Copy dialog

The Edit > Copy Special command opens the Copy dialog box, which lets you put on the Clipboard any selected objects. You can paste the contents of the Clipboard elsewhere. See Paste dialog.

To remove rather than copy objects, see Cut dialog.

To make copies of linked clips, see Splitting and combining clips.

The Copy dialog box has the following fields:

Events in Tracks

If you select this check box, SONAR copies all Events in the selected object.

Clip Automation

If you select this check box, SONAR copies all clip automation in the selection.

Track/Bus Automation

If you select this check box, SONAR copies all Track and Bus automation from the selection.

Tempo Changes

If you select this check box, SONAR copies all tempo changes in the selected object.

Meter/Key Changes

If you select this check box, SONAR copies all meter and key changes in the selected object.

Markers

If you select this check box, SONAR copies all markers in the selected object.

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.

If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
